Ultrasound, right
in the office.

Sparrow is equipped with on-site ultrasound, performed personally by Dr. Luciano. When a concern like pelvic pain, heavy bleeding, or an irregular cycle needs a closer look, imaging happens right here in Winter Garden, and the doctor who knows your history is the one at the probe, explaining what she sees as she scans.

Both pelvic (transabdominal) and transvaginal ultrasound are available, and ultrasound also supports in-office care, from checking IUD position to evaluating abnormal bleeding.

Common
questions.

Do you accept insurance?+
Sparrow Women's Health is in network with Aetna and Cigna, and accepts Traditional Medicare. Coverage, copays, deductibles, coinsurance, referrals, and prior authorization requirements vary by plan. Please contact your insurer or our office to confirm your individual benefits. We're also credentialing with additional major carriers. Military families: Dr. Luciano is a TRICARE-certified, currently non-network provider for eligible TRICARE Select and TRICARE for Life beneficiaries — call us first so we can help verify your benefits. Patients with other plans may have out-of-network benefits, with a detailed superbill provided upon request (reimbursement is determined by your insurer and not guaranteed), or may choose transparent self-pay prices with payment at the time of service.
What does a visit cost?+
If you're with Aetna, Cigna, or Traditional Medicare, your visit is billed to your plan according to your individual benefits — you don't pay the listed self-pay rates. For self-pay visits: $250 for a new patient visit, $225 for your annual well-woman exam, and $150 for follow-up visits. Personalized estimates are provided before any procedure is scheduled.
What if I bring up a new concern during my annual exam?+
Bring it up — that's what the time is for, and quick questions are simply part of your visit. If a concern turns out to need its own evaluation — new testing or meaningful extra time — Dr. Luciano will tell you before anything is added to your bill. You can choose to address it that day, billed as a $150 problem visit alongside your exam, or schedule a dedicated follow-up. If you're using insurance, a same-day problem is billed to your plan as a separate service, which can mean a copay even when your annual is fully covered.
What happens at a well-woman exam?+
A well-woman exam includes age-appropriate counseling, preventive screenings, and immunization recommendations, along with a comprehensive review of your medical history and a physical exam. You won't feel rushed through your appointment.
Do you perform in-office procedures?+
Yes. The office is equipped for procedures including contraceptive implant insertions and removals, colposcopy with or without biopsy, and endometrial biopsy, with on-site ultrasound available to support your care. For minor gynecologic procedures, Dr. Luciano maintains surgical privileges at a local surgery center, and for major surgery she'll guide you through trusted referrals.
Do you offer ultrasound in the office?+
Yes. Pelvic and transvaginal ultrasound are available on-site and performed by Dr. Luciano herself, so imaging for concerns like pelvic pain, abnormal bleeding, fibroids, and ovarian cysts happens in the same office as your visit, with findings explained to you as part of your care.
Do you provide prenatal care or deliveries?+
No. While Dr. Luciano is trained in general and high-risk obstetric care, she's now focusing on gynecologic care along with preconception and postpartum wellness, and isn't offering prenatal care or delivery services through Sparrow.
Do you also care for menopause?+
Yes. Dr. Luciano provides dedicated perimenopause and menopause care, including comprehensive consultations and hormone therapy. You can read more on the Menopause & Midlife page.
Do you place and remove IUDs in the office?+
Dr. Luciano performs IUD and contraceptive implant insertions and removals right in the office in Winter Garden, so you won't need to travel for these procedures. Personalized contraception counseling is part of every visit.
Do you treat PMOS (PCOS)?+
Yes. Dr. Luciano evaluates and treats PMOS, also known as PCOS (polycystic ovary syndrome), endometriosis, irregular or heavy periods, and other gynecologic conditions, with the time to actually get to the root of what's going on.
Can I get a well-woman exam or Pap smear without insurance?+
Yes. Your annual well-woman exam and Pap smear are available at transparent self-pay prices, with payment due at the time of service. After payment, we can provide a detailed superbill upon request for you to submit to your insurer for possible out-of-network reimbursement, determined by your insurer and not guaranteed.
What areas do you serve?+
Our office is in Winter Garden, and we care for women throughout Horizon West, Windermere, Ocoee, Clermont, and the greater Orlando area.
